Social Council : It is the social participation body for the planning and participation of the productive sector in the National Reference Centre.

It is composed of the following members:

    • Representatives of the General State Administration (25%).
    • Deputy Director General for Vocational Training Planning and Management. Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
    • Deputy Director General of Active Employment Policies of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). Ministry of Labour and Social Economy
    • Representatives of the Autonomous Community Administrations (25%).
    • Director General for Agriculture, Food Industry and Agricultural Cooperativism. Regional Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment of the Murcia Region
    • Director of the National Reference Centre for the Food Industry, Vegetable Preserves Area.
    • Representatives of business organisations (25%).
    • President of the Agrupal (Murcia, Alicante and Albacete Food Business Association).
    • President of the Agrupal (Murcia, Alicante and Albacete Food Business Association).
    • Representatives of trade union organisations (25%).
    • Representative of the trade union organisation Comisiones Obreras (CCOO)
    • Representative of the trade union organisation Comisiones Obreras (CCOO)

The Social Council shall have at least the following functions

  • Propose the multi-annual guidelines and the Work Plan of the Centre.
  • Report the budget proposal and the annual balance sheet.
  • To report on the proposal for the appointment of the Director of the Centre.
  • Approve the Annual Report of activities.
  • Adopt its own rules of procedure.
  • To be informed of the Centre’s annual evaluation report.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the Centre’s services.
  • Collaborate in the search for additional funding or equipment for the Centre.
