The National Reference Centre for Vegetable Preserves has implemented an integrated quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system based on the following Standards:

  • Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2015
  • Environmental Management Standard ISO 14.001:2015
  • Management Standard: ISO 45001
  • Environmental Management Standard: EMAS Regulation

The CRN implemented and obtained the certification of the aforementioned Management Standards in 2019 and since then has been working to implement continuous improvement actions in order to provide the best possible service while passing the annual maintenance or recertification audits.

Likewise, the CRN promotes initiatives that distinguish excellence in the management and development of research, innovation and professional training activities for the food industry and vegetable canning sector, working and experimenting with tools such as the EFQM Model or environmental indicators such as the carbon footprint, among others.
